Verdan keeps you informed about important events through multiple notification channels.
Notification Types
Safety Alerts (High Priority)
- New hazard observations reported
- Permit expiry warnings
- Compliance violations detected
- Emergency notifications
Crew Updates (Medium Priority)
- New crew sign-in requests
- Guest sign-in alerts
- Subcontractor insurance expiring
- Worker certification reminders
Activity Updates (Low Priority)
- Daily log generated
- Toolbox Talk completed
- Project milestones reached
- System maintenance notices
Notification Channels
Configure how you receive notifications:
| Channel | Best For |
|---|---|
| In-App | All notifications, always available |
| Daily summaries, important alerts | |
| Push (Mobile) | Time-sensitive safety alerts |
| SMS | Critical emergencies only |
Managing Preferences
- Go to Notification Preferences
- Toggle channels for each notification type
- Set quiet hours (no push/SMS during off-hours)
- Choose daily digest vs. individual emails
Clearing Notifications
- Click the bell icon to view notifications
- Mark individual items as read
- Use "Mark All Read" to clear the list
- Notifications auto-archive after 30 days
